I don’t want you to go through the same debt, trouble and anguish that I’ve gone through…  So I’ve written this article to give you a “heads up” about the most common problems and frustrations, which not only I’ve experienced, but many thousands of others have as well when looking for legitimate work at home programs.

So listen up, because I’m going to tell you 3 little-known things that you should  AVOID when selecting any type of legitimate work at home programs…

Number one:
In order to make money in any business, you must make sales. To do this, many businesses want you to make a list of your friends and family… and then sell your product or opportunity to them! Personally, I HATED selling to my friends and family, and because of my continual “pitches” a few of them even stopped speaking to me!

So if a business calls for you to make a list of your friends and family, then that’s a great sign that their marketing system is VERY poor (or non-existent) and they should be avoided like the plague! A superb marketing system is absolutely CRUCIAL to success in ANY legitimate work at home programs!

Number two:
When your list of friends and family have run dry, or if your success in that area is poor, I oftentimes see businesses instructing you to purchase leads and then cold call them. I’ve been there, I’ve done that, and in my experience, it does NOT work!

Why? Well, there are really many reasons. First of all, you have to actually pay for these leads before you can even call them. And when you purchase these so called “leads” from a lead broker, there’s no way to really tell how these lead brokers actually got the data!

Basically, the fact that you’re reaching people who have not demonstrated ANY interest in you or what you have to offer is a highly ineffective use of time. Or in other words… not worth it!

Sure, these methods work for some. And it is possible to make sales with these methods… But personally, if I can establish a business in a more efficient way… with LESS time, and make MORE money, then I would prefer to do that. So it’s a great thing that we have the internet to make things a lot easier!

Anyway, here’s the third thing you should watch out for…

When searching for legitimate work at home programs and you begin hearing things like “the best compensation plan in the industry” or if they describe their comp plan with phrases like “binary, unilevel or matrix” or you hear that it’s a “ground floor opportunity” or some other hype or fluff, then, in my (and experience), these companies are just like every other business out there.

So the take-home for today is that it’s crucial to find an opportunity with an established marketing system, that doesn’t use hype or fluff to have people join their business.

There you go! Now you know a few of the most important things you should avoid when picking out legitimate work at home programs! I hope this brings you a step closer to living the dream life you deserve!
